Important Reminder

Please take a moment to review these important reminders about our grave decoration policies.

Note: There are no exceptions for any holiday for the information listed below.

Prohibited Decorations

Glass decorations of any kind are not permitted. Examples include:

·         Vases and jars

·         Beer and other alcohol bottles

·         Candles in glass containers

·         Snow globes

Rocks and bricks are also prohibited.

Prohibited items are removed and discarded immediately when found.

Why These Items Are Prohibited

Glass and stone items can break, creating hazards for visitors, staff, and grounds equipment:

·         Broken pieces can be thrown by mower blades, injuring people or damaging property.

·         Sharp fragments can cut staff who remove them.

·         Debris can puncture tires or damage mower blades.

Help Us Keep Decoration Policies Flexible

My goal is to keep our grave decoration policies relaxed, but continued problems may make stricter rules necessary. Please help by following these guidelines and reviewing our General Rules, available as a downloadable PDF on our website.

Thank you for helping keep the cemetery safe for everyone.
